We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to communicate with customers who have chosen to use WhatsApp with GymPlus. Through WhatsApp we send service notifications (for example equipment, maintenance and security alerts), provide customer support, and let users ask the GymPlus AI Assistant about their own gym's data. Messages sent to the AI Assistant are processed by our AI service providers listed on our Data & Privacy page to generate replies. Detailed information, such as security event details, is shown only in the GymPlus service after sign-in. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited processes phone numbers, message content and message details on our behalf as our processor, and may store data in Meta data centres outside the EU, including the USA, under the Meta Global Processor Terms. Meta may also use this data as an independent controller to keep its service safe and secure. Messages are retained by Meta for a maximum of 30 days.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman: tietosuoja.fi.
